Carly Gaylor is a remarkable individual, embodying the roles of a yoga teacher, pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist, ordained minister, and devoted homeschooling mother. Her unwavering passion lies in guiding individuals towards reclaiming their connection with their bodies and engaging in the activities they love without any traces of fear or discomfort. Following a challenging labor and delivery experience with her son, she embarked on a journey of exploring numerous therapeutic approaches in order to heal her pelvic floor and resume her beloved pursuits such as yoga, running, and soccer. Ultimately, it was the discovery of a holistic approach that facilitated her profound healing. Embracing this comprehensive perspective, which encompasses the entire body from breath to posture to head-to-toe functional movement, she pours her heart into her work, offering hope and empowerment to those embarking on their own healing journeys.
I was born in India and grew up practicing Yoga. Currently, I work as a Neurointensive care physician in Dayton, Ohio, USA, and a faculty member at Wright State University. I am interested in exploring how Yoga and Eastern Philosophy can help manage stress. Yoga has been a significant part of my life, bringing personal peace and tranquility. I obtained my certification from Aura Wellness Center and Dr. Paul Jerard . My medical background has deepened my understanding of emotional well-being and spirituality. Yoga provides insights into the body's autonomic responses and how to manipulate them, which aligns with my knowledge as a physician. Through my neurologic-critical care practice, I've witnessed the profound impact of these practices on consciousness. I am passionate about sharing the scientific aspects of Yoga and you can find me on Facebook at facebook.com/authorgnanthakore
